MitexPTFE Membrane is unaffected by almost all liquids, including organic solvents, concentrated acids and bases, propellants, and cryogenic fluids. Mitexmembrane is unbacked, yet is easy to handle, combining the convenience of a backed membrane with the versatility of a pure PTFE membrane. Mitexmembrane is hydrophobic.

应用

MitexMembrane Filter is suitable for:

clarifying acids, bases, and cryogenic fluids

clarifying propellants

analyzing hydraulic fluids

isolating RNA

It has been used in the ammonium diffusion method to measure the 15N atom percentage excess of NH4+and NO3in soil extracts. It has also been used in horizontal infiltration experiments using unsaturated sand columns.
